Exploring the World of Music is a video series introduction to music with a global perspective. The series shows how elements such as melody, rhythm, and texture can create an infinite variety of sounds and serve as expressions of culture. Through rare and archival footage and contemporary performances, the series also presents themes such as music and the environment, music as cultural memory, and how technology changes music.
