Litchfield Sept 9, 1827
Dear Philip, I have time to write but a line but must let you know that
I am in Litchfield. I could not write at Hartford and now think this is
the best way to send. I told Horatio coming from Hartford that Ozias sent
a letter to you that must be put in the mail, as soon as we arrived here.
Cousin Storre? Has just asked me what I should think of going to New Haven,
Connecticut. He intends starting Tuesday with his sister, I do not know
how they are going, - and do not think it very probable that I shall go,
but cannot now decide. I shan’t I fear believe I am so near you
– But I ought not to think anything about seeing you – I am
afraid I shall not. I expect my Cousins every moment will come here to
see what I am about. Good Bye – I don’t know what I have written
– nor what I out to write, but do forvie all. EHS
I know you would like Uncle Ozias’ daughters could you see them.
