This image, taken from the 1967 Middlebury Campus newspaper, shows an anti-war protest that takes a different stand. These African American anti-war protesters tackle the issue of race relations and the war. They are asking the questions: Why should we harm someone who has done nothing wrong to me? During a time when black rights were becoming more and more prominent of an issue, this stance on the war was both effective and unique.
