| Henry Sheldon, collector and founder of the Henry Sheldon Museum in Middlebury, was among those captivated by the Spanish-American War. As with so many subjects that interested him, Sheldon collected relevant materials on the war into two voluminous and oversized scrapbooks. Sheldon's Spanish-American War Scrapbooks primarily contain reports on the war from a range of urban newspapers. Selections from the scrapbooks are included in this site. |
