Took up the Maine Toppsail at 1h 3= 0m P.M. braild upp the= Foure Main Trysail & Spanker hald down the Topp mast staysail Maid Signal and Spe= ck a Dutch Galyacht at 2h 30m P.M.  Sett t= he Trysails and Toppmast staysail at 10 P.M. Braild up the Foure and Main Trysails   the Fer= st part fo this 24 hour= s Soundet every hour the later part every ½ houre   Cleard the small bower at 11 A.M.  Came to an anc= or   Tick Fegg  List from Scaw Light 5 Miles Bearing SE/E

   &nbs= p;        This 24h Light breezes and Cloudy

   &nbs= p;        Hove upp the ancor an got under way at 3 P.M.

   &nbs= p;        At 8h 35m bore SE to her Comp = boardet

   &nbs= p;        Vessel to an ancor was boardet by a boat from shore

   &nbs= p;        Wile to ancor with provision

   &nbs= p;        At 2h 10m a.m. wing or light bore East Dist 7 miles

   &nbs= p;        At 3h 45m Light bore NW by W Dist 10 miles

   &nbs= p;        At 5h a.m. Neding or light bore East Dist 12 miles=

   &nbs= p;        At 11h a.m. Tock in the Drysails at 11h 20m and sett

   &nbs= p;        The drysails in at 11h 5m Past Half southern island bearing SE out 5 miles

 

Remarks on board Sunday Nov the 7th,1841

 

This 24 h fresh breezes & cloudy

At 6 o’clock in the morning hove upp the beast bower

At 9, hove up the small bower and ran out of the hall<= /p>

By Steam, Secured the ancor & boats nead everything Raid= y for sea at 12 noon

The Kopenhagen pilot left = the ship at 2h 23m p.m.

Light bore SE/E saw 2 vessels suck in the reef with th= e topmasts out

Of water at 2h 30m p.m.

Light bore WNW/W nead al s= ails at 5 p.m. Clean reel the topps= ails

At 9 p.m. Tock in the sails

At 11h30m p.m. head bornhelm light boreing NE

At 12h10m a.m. born helm SE/E Dist 4 miles

At 1 a.m. sett sails and <= span class=3DSpellE>lett one reel out the tops= ails at 2 a.m.

Cristiansor Bore SSE bornhelm a stearn WSW lett the 2nd Re= el

Out the toppsails Saw several vessels

 

Remarks on board Monday Nov 8th 1841

 

This 24h Strong breezes & cloudy

At 1h p.m. Soundet in 22 g= ravel and sand

Past several vessels boild= up the topsails hol down the staysails

Clud up & reel the foure & maine topsails and  twind<= /span> down

At 11 p.m. sett the toppsails & drysails<= /p>

At 11h 20m p.m. Eastern bonhelm bor wNW Dist 20 miles

At 1h a.m. broild up foure &maine drysails

 

Remarks on board Tuesday Nov 9th, 1841

 

This 24h ferst part strong= breezes & cloudy

The later part moderat and some snow at 1h p.m.

Daggars 3 points on the st= arboard bowe tock in

The drysails<= /span> & staysails at 2p.m. Sett them igan at 5 p.m.

Dagarnot light bore E/S at= 10h 50m p.m.

Odensholm bore SSE at 1ha.= m.

Pucker light bore ESE Dist 12 miles at 2 a.m.

Tock in the D= rysails 7 staysails at 2h 20m a.m.

Surup Light bore ESE Dist = 10 miles

Slowed the machinery at 2h 25m a.m= .

Started a head igan at 3h = a.m. Nargaron Light bore SE Dist 5 miles

At 3h 30m a.m. Revel Light bore SW Dist 8 miles

At 8h 10m a.m. Porklow lig= ht bore NW Dist 12 miles

At 11h 5m a.m. Rotcher Lig= ht bore SSE Dist 5 miles

Past several vessels.

 

Remarks on board Wednesday NoV 10th, 1841

 


This 24 h strong breezes with snow

At 12h 40m p.m. past hoglan Lights at 1h 30m p.m.

Tock in al the Sails at 5h 50m. Lay the ships Head

To the wind SW Soundet several times at4h a.m.

Past the Tull= bacon light at 5h 50 p.m.

Came too far the smal bowe= r in the Reefed of Crownstad

At 8h Hove upp the ancor and Ran in = close to the kewl.

Let go the smal bower

 

Remarks on board October 31st, 1841

 

This 24h Fresh breezes with= Raine

Saw a ship standing to the westward

Hold down the storm staysail, Hoy= sted lead

Out the hold to trip ship within

Soundet Every houre from 19 to 29

For of water bottom need brown da= ns and some gravel
