Tuesday August 31st 1909
Dadie and I had breakfast early and went to Waterloo Station with our clubs and met Mr. L Murdoch and Mr. Ryan and took the train for Wimbledon where there are some fine links. In the morning I played Mr. Murdoch, he gave me half a stroke and I beat him 5 up and 3 to go. In the afternoon we played a foursome, Dadie and I versus Mr. Murdoch and Mr. Ryan. We broke even.
Wednesday September 1st 1909
In the morning Dadie and I went to Bow Street police court and heard some trials. It was very interesting.
