This doll, which was gifted to the Sheldon Museum by Mrs. Dora McDeuitt Wilson in 1943, was made in 1838. Her head and body are made from a type of cloth called muslin, and she is stuffed with sawdust. She is wearing a brown dress with petticoats and a red silk bonnet.
