James Reese graduated from a high school in New Jersey in the early 70’s.  He was captain of the basketball team during his senior year in 1977.  He was also the president of the Black Student Union this year.  After he graduated, three months later he was hired by Bates College as the Associate Dean of Students.  He is now still currently the dean of Bates College.
