Liberia Farmer; or, Colonist's Guide to Independence and Domestic Comfort, 1825

Background:

The Liberia Farmer, or, A Colonist's Guide, was published in 1825 in an effort to attract more African American emigrants to Liberia. The original full text of the document is in Middlebury's Special Collections, but the pamphlet was also included as an appendix in Gurley's Life of Jehudi Ashman (1835), which already exists in digital format.
