How do the blue and red particles in the simulation above move relative to one another?   Estimate or measure how much time it takes the red particle to completely traverse all regions of the compartment; similarly, measure the behavior of the blue particle.   How do the times compare?

Technically, the blue particle exhibits a standard deviation of 2 units/move; the red, 5 units/move. There are no fractional moves, and so the blue's movement is probably underestimated relative to the red's.  To observe the planar diffusion of a large number of red and blue particles, turn the page.
