The Web Museum is a multi-year project that began in January 2004 as part of a January term course at Middlebury College under the direction of Professor Holly Allen and Librarian Andy Wentink.

Each January term, roughly fifteen students explore topics relating to the history of the College and the surrounding community, drawing on manuscripts and archives in Middlebury College Special Collections and at the Henry Sheldon Museum in Middlebury, Vermont.

This research is then digitized and transformed into interactive online museum exhibits for you to enjoy.
