            Your communication regarding Alpha Chi has just come, and I am hastening to let you know that I shall be very happy to be taken into Kappa Kappa Gamma if Alpha Chi is admitted. I have always been in favor of Alpha Chi trying to be taken into a first class national but never thought that the alumnae would be admitted also. Alice Brainerd and I have wondered (not) a little since we have heard the news, for the memories of Alpha Chi are among the sweetest in life.
