In 1922, Middlebury College's Alpha Chi fraternity decided to become a chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Alpha Chi almuni were presented with the oportunity to join the nationwide sorority, and these replies reflect on the bonds the women formed within the fraternity.

 

Minutes of an Alpha Chi weekly meeting:
"The bylways to the constitution were then read and the following program was given.

Reading- 'My last Duchess'---Ismene
Reading- 'Mrs. Lofter's Ride' --- [Ie]as
Writing telegrams --- Fraternity
Singing --- Fraternity

The meeting closed with the grip and benediction.
