Remarks, that though the duty might not be inferred directly still it might indirectly, the completion of the Lords prayer the examples of pious men both in modern and ancient times were evidences that this was a duty, David, Daniel and Cornelius, were addressed as examples of David Psalm 55:17. Evening and morning and noon I will pray unto thee of Daniel it was said three times a day he prays and gave thanks to God. Of Cornelius died 10, 2 and 30 A devout man and one that fears God with all his house, who prayed to God always. And Cornelius said four days ago I was fasting until this house, and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house and the examples of the sacrifices were also added as affording conceivable evidence on this point. It was the custom with them to offer incense morning and evening Since the object of this was to obtain forgivings of sin so the Christian morning and evenings should look up to God that his sins may be pardoned and his soul sprinkled with the blood of Jesus. Some remarks were added by the president and the question decided in the affirmative.
