     Yesturday two Candiote Turks killed a Greek in the fish market. –
Today I am told that 3 Candiote got drunk + went through the streets making a disturbance. A Turk reproved them + they gave him some blows on the legs with their swords. Information was carried to the guards + a company of men was sent to take them. The 3 Candiotes stood together + presented each of them a pistol + the guards immediately withdrew + left them.
     It is reported today that the Turkish fleet has left the Dardanelles + met the Greek fleet of Lemnos + taken 7 or 8 vessels + sunk upwards of 20. –
