Military Service
Bela was a volunteer in the New York militia, serving under General Benjamin Moores. He fought at the Battle of Plattsburgh on September 11, 1814.
General Catalogue
After the war, Bela became a lawyer in Clinton County, New York. He later served as a member of the New York State Legislature.
