Audio Normalizing

    Before you save an audio file, it is important to normalize it. Normalizing increasing the audio volume levels to there maximum without distortion, thereby increasing the dynamic range of the recording. On a PC, see: Sound Forge

Tutorial
1. Open hello.aif from the tutorial files you downloaded (see: Download)
2. Place the cursor at the end of the wave graph and record your voice
3. Select the portion of the wave graph that represents the recording of your voice
4. Chose Effects > Normalize and Normalize to 100 % of maximum.
