Powerpoint has a variety of layouts for viewing your work. You are currently on the Outline View layout. Please look at the bottom left-hand corner of the window and locate the 5 icons that are similar to the image below :

From left to right, the layouts are :
1. Slide View - allows you to work with each individual slide
2. Outline View - allows you to work with the general (text) outline of your presentation.
3. Slide Sorter View - allows you to view all the slides at once.
4. Notes Page View - allows you to create personal presentation notes for each slide.
5. Slide Show - allows you to view your work as it would be seen in a presentation.

*If you place your cursor over a tool icon for a few seconds, a tool-tip box will appear giving you the name of the tool.


 

   



1.Open shentong.ppt.
Click on each view icon to see the different views of the presentation.
Go to Outline View layout and add text. Text can also be added in Slide View.
Try reformatting text, changing font size, color, alignment etc.
