King George V invitation

During war time, American soldiers stationed overseas were treated as brothers by the men of the Allied counties they were visiting and fighting with. Men united over common goals and shared their homes with the soldiers. For the Americans, and on behalf of the British Isles, King George V held formal dinners to show his appreciation for their support.
