For a few days, the ship encountered nice weather, with fresh breezes and clear skies. There was a little rain along the way but the weather was a significant improvement over the previous days. Again, the engine had to be stopped on the 18th to clean and maintain the ship.

At 9 A.M. lett the Reefs out the foure topsail laid the shipps head to the wind NE 20m and Soundet no bottom
At 10 A.M. sett the spanker
At 9h 40m stoppet the Engen to shift the buckets in the waterweel
