THE BLACK STUDENT UNION: SPREADING AWARENESS

Alvin Poussaint

The Black Student Union worked hard to inform the students and faculty at Middlebury about the happenings within the national black community. In a time when complete racial integration was still new, the BSU helped to educate the white members of the college community. Often through newspaper articles, informational pamphlets, or newsletters, the Black Student Union publicly articulated their goals, issues and concerns.
