Tweening

Tweening is a technique whereby the changes that result from one keyframe to the next are graduated in the frames between. The two main types of tweening are motion and shape.

Tutorial
1. Open tween.fla from the tutorial images you downloaded (see: Download)

2. Double-click the red arrow on the motion tween layer to see the tweening settings in the frame properties (select tweening tab).

3. Create a new layer and a new object in frame 1 of that layer.

4. Insert a keyframe in frame 10 and move or resize your object or create a new object on a completely different shape (be sure not to group any of these objects or tweening will not work)

5. Now double-click any frame between your 2 keyframes, select the tweening tab and set the tweening.

6. Play your new animation. Show it to your mother.
