POWER OUTPUT CALCULATOR

Shown below is a program used to calculate the annual power output of a specified wind turbine at a given site. Wind data for the Middlebury College Snow Bowl and specifications for the Northern Power Systems NW100/19 were entered to produce the Snow Bowl's annual power output. Results indicate that one NW100/19 wind turbine would produce 278,366 kWh/yr. Two wind turbines would produce 556,732 kWh/yr, exceeding the Snow Bowl's demands of 450,000 kWh/yr.
